Shamir Kumar Nandy is the Founder and Executive Chairman of GV Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd. He is a businessman and entrepreneur with more than three decades of diverse entrepreneurial experience comprising roles in property development and investment, stockbroking, trading, internet-related businesses, environmental, media and entertainment, and education through various companies, namely GV Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd, Primus Equities & Assets Sdn Bhd, and Academic Medical Centre Sdn Bhd.

GV Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd is an award-winning boutique Corporate Advisory firm providing strategic corporate guidance to private clients. He is also the Founder of Primus Equities & Assets Sdn Bhd, an asset holding company that is pushing the frontiers of traditional business models by setting new benchmarks in value creation.

In recognition of his remarkable business achievements, he was bestowed with the McMillan Woods ICON award for Lifetime Achievement and Extraordinary Leadership. This prestigious award is only given to the most iconic corporate leaders and is an international honour with participants from a multitude of countries including Australia, Cambodia, China, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Japan, Indonesia, Korea, Mauritius, Nepal, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, and USA.

His experience with hardships fuels his passion for giving back, driving his pursuit for greatness. He is a philanthropist, who is instilled with a strong love for his community and country. For decades, he had anonymously helped and given generously to orphanages, charities, and hospitals. Some of his contributions include donating medical equipment such as respirators and endoscopic machines to public hospitals and personally underwriting the cost of medical treatment for the poor. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he supported the ‘Bendera Putih’ (White Flag) movement and channeled significant food aid to thousands in the B40 community.

He is a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship from the Rotary Foundation and was also awarded the Excellence in Humanitarian Service Award by Rotary International. This award recognizes outstanding individuals who have carried out exemplary humanitarian service and demonstrated a strong commitment to humanitarian service.

Dato’ Dr Siva Ananthan: Deputy Executive Chairman of GV Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd

Dato’ Dr Siva Ananthan is currently the Deputy Executive Chairman of GV Corporate Advisory Sdn Bhd and also CEO of both SKN Land & Development Sdn Bhd and SKN Equities & Assets Sdn Bhd.

Dato’ Dr Siva Ananthan started out his career as a Law Lecturer and went on to found and own ATC (Advance Tertiary College) in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, one of the region’s most successful private law colleges. During his time as an educator, he was also an adjunct faculty member of several Australian universities – the University of Southern Queensland, Federation University and RMIT University. Thereafter, he chose to pursue a career in Corporate Advisory work capitalising on his vast experience as a purveyor of the law.

He was the CEO of LTT Global Consultants. During his time with LTT, he attended to a wide array of matters for clients regionally and globally. He acted as legal advisor to the Amcorp Group Berhad, which owned the AmBank Group. He undertook debt reconstruction work worth several hundred million Malaysian Ringgit for the group.

He has over three decades of experience in professional services, providing local and multinational companies with a comprehensive range of legal, investment and business advisory services. A regular speaker at conferences in Malaysia and around the world, he is highly regarded for his expertise in the law, strategic planning, corporate governance and leadership. He is a Past President of the National Association of Private Educational Institutions, a Past Director of the Pan Pacific Association of Private Education (1996-2000) and a Past Governing Council Member of the ASEAN Law Association.

In recognition of his achievements in Corporate Advisory work, he was awarded with the McMillan Woods Corporate Advisory & Consulting Excellence Award in 2022.
